Welcome to MHB Motorcycles in the heart of the beautiful Yorkshire Dales National Park.

The home of all things motorcycles and quads in northern Cumbria.

Our retail premises opened in April 2025 on the high street of Kirkby Stephen. We named it ‘Ride and Roam’. The retail shop has oodles of gear for all types of motorcycling as well as walking and workwear. Brands we work with include Tog 24 outdoor clothing, Hi Tech walking boots and many more. We also offer a range of workwear for our local farmers and trade workers. These include Caterpillar work boots, Toughstuff workwear and many others.

New & Used motorbikes. We have an ever-changing range of new and used bikes and quads:

Stockists of AJP · BSA · CFMOTO · Fantic · Hero MotoCorp · Segway Powersports · 10Ten · Zontes.

We offer servicing and repairs on all brands of motorbike or quad, and our spares department is pretty comprehensive. Covering most models of bikes, and we can order in anything not already in stock. Our workshop is fully equipped, and we have a wealth of experience to draw upon for all things servicing and repairs.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Visiting North Yorkshire for the first time from the Highlands of Scotland. Picked up some thorns on TET section north of Waitby. Both CRFs with front punctures! Called Martin on Sunday and his team got us back on the road first thing Monday morning. Couldn't fault the service, friendly and efficient. Apologies to the new boy who's first tyre change was an Anakee! Impressed with quality of their AJP bikes, definitely on the Santa list. Many thanks, you saved our holiday.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Bought my brand new CFMoto 450MT off David and Martin and from start to finish they were both extremely helpful and easy to deal with. Next time i'm due a new bike i'll certianly be checking their stock to see if i can continue giving my business to them.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Two great blokes saved the day and our trip. Put themselves out to collect the bike at short notice, got it back to their workshop and replaced the innertube and got us on the road again in next to no time. Great service, great price, what a rarity these days. Can't recommend MHB Motorcycles enough!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. A massive shout out to Martin. Called into MHB by chance, no warning, as my engine warning light was on, as i was on holiday in the area. Martin sorted all my faults. Then went above and beyond tightening my Chain lubricating it. Toped up my engine oil. And checked my bike over. Can't thank him enough. I would highly recommend MHB to anyone.
Fantastic service.
